Portrait of the artist as a young. There are cutlery, jewellery, and my hands. The touch of my hands and objects is of significant value in my practice. I learn whilst I make objects and the ideas get developed together with my hands. I remember the joyful moment of my hands and the pieces together, and the control of my work is always on my hands.

Znaczną część swojej aktywności H. Jordan poświęcał również zagadnieniom odnoszącym się do wpływu higieny na stan zdrowotności polskiego społeczeństwa. Przez całe życie, we wszystkich środowiskach zabiegał o podnoszenie wiedzy ogólnej w tym zakresie. Jordan został mianowany profesorem nadzwyczajnym położnictwa i ginekologii na Wydziale Lekarskim Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego.
